Course Overview

This course is designed to give the delegates both classroom based theoretical tuition together with practical instruction in the safe and efficient use of high pressure water jetting equipment and accessories for various types of tube and pipe cleaning applications such as clearing blockages, scale and debris.

Course Structure

There is a maximum number of 12 candidates allowed on this course. If additional candidates arrive for training above the maximum number; they will be turned away.

Prerequisites

- Valid WJA Safety Awareness training Certificate/card

- Basic understanding of English.

- The minimum age for a WJA candidate is 16 if in employment or on a structured training program or 18 if unemployed / or not on a structured training program.

Course Content

Target Audience

Any person who is inexperienced or new to the industry who will be required to undertake high pressure water jetting for working with Tubes & Pipes following the safety awareness course.
Experienced operators who have not had previous training and who require to improve their knowledge and skills. E
Experienced operators who require re-training (Refresher)

Certification

A WJA certificate will be issued upon successful completion.

Revalidation

The course must be revalidated every 3 years.

Items To Bring

- Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport.

- Where applicable please bring your existing WJA Training Card number, whether in hard copy or digital form.

Health Prerequisites

Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement.

If the delegate has any additional need(s) then please make your booker aware so they can help accordingly.

Candidates must be well rested prior to attending the training and if not, the instructor has the right to exclude anyone from the training who appears overly tired or unwell.
