Course Overview

This course provides an overview of legislation governing the handling, transfer, and disposal of waste.

Delegates will be familiarised with the requirements of the consignment process, including the relevant paperwork.

Prerequisites

Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement

Delegates completing a Waste Management training course will be aware of;
- Commercial benefits of effective environmental management
- Designing an environmental management system to minimise risks, liabilities and issues
- Drivers for environmental awareness and improved environmental performance
- Environmental issues affecting your company
- Existing and impending environmental legislation
- Management of the environmental effects of oil and gas operations
- Setting realistic environmental objectives and targets
- Application and completion of relevant consignment notes

Certification

A 3t Training Services certificate will be issued upon successful completion

Revalidation

There is no revalidation period for this training programme but refresher training is recommended every 2 years or in line with company requirements.
