The Scaffolding Awareness course provides a basic understanding of scaffold safety for anyone who works on, near, or around scaffolding. It covers the key components of a scaffold, common hazards, safe working practices, and what a compliant scaffold should look like. The course explains legal responsibilities, inspection requirements, and the fundamental principles of working at height. It is designed to help learners recognise unsafe scaffolding and understand how to keep themselves and others safe — but it does not train delegates to erect, dismantle, or inspect scaffolds.
