Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of industrial coatings.
Course Content
▪ Identify key environmental factors (temperature, humidity, dew point) that affect coating performance.
▪ Understand basic surface preparation standards (Sa 2.5, Sa 2, St 2, St 3) and their relevance.
▪ Use basic tools to measure environmental conditions and understand how to record these on QA/QC forms.
▪ Recognize the role of a QA/QC Inspector in adjusting or halting work if conditions are out of specification.
