Prerequisites
Course Content
The shoulder width measurement consists of the following:
- A specially trained measurer will take measurements with an approved set of callipers will record and upload the results
- The measurements are taken across the upper arm and must be completed against the skin to ensure accurate results
- Results will be classed as regular or extra broad (XBR)
- XBR passengers will be seated in an allocated XBR seat
Target Audience
This Product is for personnel due to fly offshore by helicopter and are required to register their Shoulder Breadth Measurement before departure.
Certification
An OPITO certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
Revalidation
Revalidation is required every 4 years.
