The Medical Aspect of Fitness for Offshore Work is designed for anyone identified as requiring a further assessment during an OGUK medical.
This course covers the further screening required prior to a restricted OGUK Medical being issued.

Course Overview
Prerequisites
Course Content
To meet the fitness requirements for working offshore, delegates must successfully demonstrate that they can:
- Escape through a standard sized helicopter escape exit
- Don an aviation transit suit
- Don a permanent buoyancy lifejacket
- Don an aviation lifejacket
- Sit in a standard helicopter seat
- Fasten a standard helicopter harness
Target Audience
Anyone Identified as requiring a further assessment during an OGUK medical.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will be issued a 3t Training Services medical certificate of fitness for offshore work.
Revalidation
There is no revalidation period for this training programme but refresher training is recommended every two years, or in line with company requirements.

Items To Bring
Delegates are required to bring government-issued photo ID to the course, such as a driving licence or passport.
Health Prerequisites
Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement.
