This course package is the best way to renew all your GWO certificates in one convenient course package.

A GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher Package is the best way to renew GWO basic safety training.

3t Training Services have combined the four Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training courses that keep all mandatory GWO certifications up to date.

This package consists of all four courses being delivered over 3 days:
- GWO Working at Height Refresher with GWO Manual Handling
- GWO First Aid Refresher
- GWO Fire Awareness
- GWO Sea Survival

The equipment used during the training course carries a weight limit of 136-140kg. For participants this maximum weight includes clothes and safety equipment, we therefore recommend a maximum bodyweight of 120kg. Our equipment also has a maximum waist size of 120cm.

Prerequisites

- A valid and in-date GWO First Aid certificate
- A valid and in-date GWO Working at Height certificate
- A valid and in-date GWO Fire Awareness certificate
- A valid and in-date GWO Sea Survival certificate
- A valid and in-date GWO Manual Handling certificate

Course Content

Delegates completing this package will be able to;
- Identify possible hazards within the wind industry and how to control and mitigate these hazards
- Administer safe and effective first aid in the wind turbine industry in accordance with GWO
- Correctly performing manual handling activities in the wind industry/wind turbine environment
- Demonstrate sea survival techniques and safe transfer between vessels and installations
- Perform safe and comprehensive basic rescue from height in a remote turbine environment while meeting emergency response requirements for personnel new to the global wind industry

Personnel required to renew GWO basic safety training certifications

Certification

A GWO certificate will be issued upon successful completion.

Revalidation

The course must be revalidated every 2 years.

Venue

Items To Bring

▪ Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport.
▪ Safety Boots (PPE Requirement for Working at Height and Fire Awareness).
▪ Shoes suitable for wearing in water.

Health Prerequisites

Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement.
