The OGUK Medical Assessment of Fitness for Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) In-Water Training is required, in addition to the standard OGUK medical examination; in order for personnel to take part in the additional in water CA-EBS exercises included within the OPITO-approved BOSIET/FOET/HUET with CA-EBS.

Course Overview
Prerequisites
There are no pre-requisites for this medical examination.
Course Content
The medical examination will consist of the following:
- Completion of delegate CA-EBS fitness questionnaire
- Consultation with an OGUK trained and registered doctor
Subject to the outcome of the consultation, further checks may be required i.e. a physical examination or spirometry (additional charges will apply)
Target Audience
Anyone completing OPITO HUET which is part of the OPITO BOSIET and FOET courses
Certification
A 3t Training Services certificate will be issued upon successful completion
Revalidation
There is no revalidation requirement for this training programme.

Health Prerequisites
Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement
