This technical test is aimed at both onshore and offshore fabric maintenance personnel who may be required to complete a "trade test" before their employment is started or approved.
ECITB Technical Test - TI01 Thermal Insulation - Application of Insulation and Non-Metallic Cladding to Pipework consists of a knowledge test and a practical test. Delegates will have 25 minutes to complete the knowledge test and three hours to complete the practical test.
The 3-hour practical test consists of applying insulation and cladding to a pipework test rig at four specific points using the correct materials and techniques to the specified tolerances.
