ECITB TSBT01 - ECITB Technical SBT Tests (TSBT01) validate the competency of candidates.
Technical testing and the associated ECITB certificate of acheivement demonstrates skill, ability and job knowledge in a specific task or activity.
Each Technical Test contains 10 questions and a practical activity on the specified test.
These tests are grant aided for ECITB registered employers.

Course Overview
Prerequisites
In order to complete the TSBT01 test, delegates will be required to provide evidence of experience based on one of the below classifications of worker type:
New workers – Must hold a valid in-date SBT01 certificate and a completed WBTA logbook (Work Based Task Assignment). The WBTA logbook must be signed by a supervisor or person of authority from the delegates employer, and entries cannot be accepted before 3 months after completion of initial SBT01 training.
Experienced workers – Must hold a valid in-date TSBT01 certificate. If a valid in-date TSBT01 certificate cannot be provided then experienced workers can provide a LOE (Letter of Endorsement) evidencing 3 years recent sustained experience and a trade discipline certificate such as an expired SBT01, TSBT01, mechanical/trade apprenticeship.
Personal workers (generally not part of core crew) – Must hold a valid in-date TSBT01 certificate. If a valid in-date TSBT01 certificate cannot be provided then personal workers can provide a CV evidencing 3 years relevant, sustained experience and a trade discipline certificate such as an expired SBT01, TSBT01, mechanical/trade apprenticeship.
Course Content
The candidate has to successfully use the appropriate tools, equipment and materials to plan, prepare, fabricate, assemble and install a small bore tubing assembly as per the specified drawing and within set tolerances.
Target Audience
Those who have already completed the ECITB SBT01 (stage 1) training course with a completed work-based task assignment book
Certification
An ECITB certificate will be issued upon successful completion
Revalidation
The course must be revalidated every 3 years.
