ECITB TMJI11 Dismantle Assemble and Hand Torque Clamp Connectors
Course Overview
Prerequisites
New workers – Must hold a valid in-date MJI10 or TMJI10 certificate and a completed WBTA logbook (Work Based Task Assignment). The WBTA logbook must be signed by a supervisor or person of authority from the delegates employer, and entries cannot be accepted before 3 months after completion of initial MJI10 training.
Experienced workers – Must hold a valid in-date TMJI11 certificate. If a valid in-date TMJI11 certificate cannot be provided then experienced workers can provide a LOE (Letter of Endorsement) evidencing 3 years recent sustained experience and a trade discipline certificate such as an expired TMJI10 or TMJI11, mechanical/trade apprenticeship.
Personal workers (generally not part of core crew) – Must hold a valid in-date TMJI11 certificate. If a valid in-date TMJI11 certificate cannot be provided then personal workers can provide a CV evidencing 3 years relevant, sustained experience and a trade discipline certificate such as an expired MJI10, TMJI10 and TMJI11, mechanical/trade apprenticeship.
Course Content
Target Audience
Engineers and technicians who will be involved in the use of hand hydraulic torque and tensioning equipment.
Certification
An ECITB certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
Revalidation
The course must be revalidated every 3 years.
