Course Overview

Sprayer Painter is a module which can be completed to obtain a silver or gold card.

The course is delivered as a combination of e-learning and practical training. Delegates will complete the e-learning elements of the course remotely from a smartphone, desktop computer, laptop or tablet prior to the 1-day practical training which is delivered at 3t's fabric maintenance centre.

PLEASE NOTE: Delegates must have access to a device and an internet connection to complete the e-learning elements of the course. Upon booking delegates will be registered for the e-learning elements of the course which must be successfully completed prior to attending the practical training sessions.

Upon completion it can take up to 7-10 day working days to receive your physical ID card however after 7 days & you have not received your card, please contact Craig.fyfe@3tglobal.com or Ryan.Higginson@3tglobal.com & they will be able to provide an update.

Prerequisites

PLEASE NOTE: Delegates must complete the word document under pre-reading material within the joining instructions. This is mandatory to be registered to the platform to begin the e-learning before attendance of the practical session.

Delegates also:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Have worked in the protective coatings industry as a sprayer or painter for more than 800 hours
- Have worked as an abrasive blast cleaning operator for more than 800 hours
- Have completed the Train The Painter - Protective Coatings Applicator

Delegates completing the Train The Painter - Sprayer Painter will be able to;
- Ensure professionalism

- Have a thorough insight into methods of surface treatment and application of protective coating safety
- Paint materials
- Airless spray equipment
- Conventional air spray
- Plural component spray

Target Audience

Personnel in the industrial coatings industry

Certification

An SPCC card will be issued upon successful completion.

Revalidation

The course must be revalidated every 5 years.

Delegates are required to bring steel toe cap safety boots.

Health Prerequisites

Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement
