CISRS Scaffolding Awareness training is a classroom-based course that provides a basic understanding of scaffolding.
Delegates will gain the knowledge to identify the core components of a safe scaffold. This insight into scaffolding best practice ensures those working with scaffolding understand what they should expect from a scaffolding contractor.
The course includes elements of working at height training which enables a greater understanding of the potential dangers of working on or with scaffolding.

Prerequisites
- A CISRS Advanced and Scaffolder card within the last 6 months of expiry
Course Content
Delegates completing this training course will be able to;
- Understand what compliant scaffolding looks like
- Appreciate the potential dangers of working at height on scaffolding
- Understand site scaffolding operations
Target Audience
Anyone who wishes to gain an understanding of scaffolding operations.
Certification
A CISRS certificate will be awarded on successful completion.
Revalidation
The course must be revalidated every 5 years.
