The Boat Transfer course includes the theory of safely transferring between a turbine transfer vessel and a wind turbine. The theoretical knowledge is supported by practical exercises which will take place in 3t's state-of-the-art sea survival pool.
Delegates will transfer from a vessel to an offshore wind farm simulator in both benign and rough sea conditions whilst wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Delegates completing Boat Transfer training will be able to;
- Assess risks during the boat transfer
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Carry out methods and procedures for boat transfer
- Understand the procedures of sea survival
Target Audience
Personnel who transfer between a vessel and wind turbine.
Certification
A 3t Training Services certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
Revalidation
The course must be revalidated every 2 years.

Health Prerequisites
Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement.
