Sim Support OnlineService and support global

Our Sim Support Online customer portal is FREE to all Drilling Systems customers and provides many features designed to make supporting your simulator easier.

For those customers who wish to extend their support we offer three additional levels of support package:

  • SUPPORT Plus
  • SUPPORT Advanced
  • SUPPORT Premium

 

The additional features available within these packages are outlined below:

Technical support

Our telephone technical support service is uniquely available to customers on a Sim Support Plan.

This service is accessible via any of our regional offices or through our dedicated
global technical support line.

Technical Support Files (TSFs) can be raised whenever you require remote support, factory support, spares, a site visit or training.

Support Premium customers with DrillSIM-6x custom rig packages can also take advantage of an annual software development allowance that allows additional features and enhancements to be added on request.

Product support

Our Support Advanced and Support Premium customers have access to complimentary upgrades for generic software with new enhancements and added functionality.

This benefit can be enjoyed whether your simulator requires an obsolescence upgrade or if you just want the latest features.

Simulators on any Sim Support Plan can also take advantage of a discount on any new software product such as a new custom rig package or a new software module.

All Support Advanced and Support Premium customers have access to a spare parts allowance to support their simulators should stocks run low.

Drilling Systems Product Support

Site visits & servicing

A site visit allowance can be used whenever you may need us on-site, be it for an urgent call-out, annual preventative maintenance or servicing.

If you need more site visits than your allowance, our standard day rates will be discounted depending on your plan tier.

Support Advanced and Support Premium customers can have their simulators tested and serviced every year.

For fixed simulators we will mobilise a technician to perform on-site servicing whereas portable simulators can be sent to one of our facilities.

Instructor Training 

Our customers are experts in oilfield processes and technologies and have driven Drilling Systems to continuously add new features and functionality to our simulators.
To assist customers in getting the most from the broad functionality of their simulators, Drilling Systems provide a range of means to access instructor training services.
For personalised, dedicated instructor training, Support Advanced and Support Premium have an allowance for training at a customer’s site or at a Drilling Systems facility. If immediate training is required, customers on any Sim Support Plan can contact our telephone support service for advice.
