3t today announced that Kevin Franklin will step down as CEO, with Frode Scott Nilsen appointed as the company’s new CEO.
Under the leadership of Kevin Franklin, 3t has evolved from a challenger brand to the clear market leader in UK energy training services. This success was driven by a relentless focus on customer service and innovation through cutting-edge digital technologies. Over the past year, 3t has begun to scale that leadership globally, accelerated by strategic acquisitions in the Middle East and the United States, marking the start of an ambitious international growth journey.

However, the leadership transition signals the next chapter in 3t’s evolution as the company expands into new safety-critical industries and geographies.
Reflecting on his tenure, Kevin Franklin said, “It’s been an incredible privilege to lead 3t through its formative years and into the business it is today. I am proud of what we have achieved together and deeply grateful to every member of the team. As we look to the future, I believe now is the right time for change, and I’m confident that 3t is well-positioned to continue its growth and impact under new leadership.”
The Board emphasised that this transition reflects 3t’s commitment to continuous growth, innovation, and long-term value creation for its customers and partners. With Frode’s appointment, 3t is poised to accelerate its global expansion, digital excellence, and leadership in safety-critical training and workforce transformation.
Mark Corrigan added, “3t is in a strong position today, and we see enormous opportunity ahead. We are confident in our direction and look forward to building on our successes as we continue to innovate and grow globally.”
Frode Scott Nilsen will start his new role from 1 November 2025.
