Pillars of performance

In the current difficult and challenging industry conditions, it is critical that an organization’s investment in learning and development produces the most effective results by improving safety and operational performance.

Underpinning everything IAS do are the Pillars of Performance which provide a focus for the solutions they offers and a tangible way for their customers to assess their challenges and opportunities.

The Integrated Advisory Services (IAS) is a team composed of industry professionals with extensive operational field experience, sector specific knowledge, expertise in training, development and competence utilizing simulation technology with the purpose of providing practical and effective solutions for your organization.

The process

The level of knowledge, experience and expertise within the IAS Team, provides them with the ability to perform in-depth analysis. From this, robust and well-structured implementation plans can be developed, ensuring that the solutions provided are focused and specific to your actual organization’s challenges.

The IAS approach is to complete the project in three distinct phases: The first is an analysis phase, followed by the Implementation and Execution phases.

The IAS Three Phase Project method:

Analysis Phase

In order to provide the most effective and practical solutions IAS first need to fully understand what your organizations challenges and objectives are and what is the current status and capability of your existing training, development and competence programs.

The IAS team conducting an in-depth Analysis is the essential first step of the process and would consist of the IAS project team visiting your offices/training center and rig sites to ensure that the IAS team have a thorough and clear understanding of the issues and challenges currently facing the operations teams.

The analysis phase, is split into two stages.  The first stage is the data gathering and review stage and will be achieved by working with training department personnel, rig site personnel and reviewing all training, development and competence programs, systems and processes before consolidating and capturing all the information.

The IAS project team will then start the second stage of the Analysis phase which will involve the review of the gathered data to determine the best solutions. They will then compile a comprehensive and detailed report which will contain their findings, recommendations and the implementation plan for phase two of the project.

Implementation Phase

Once the implementation plan has been agreed by both parties the Implementation phase will begin by conducting project meetings and workshops facilitated by the IAS project team.  This approach provides the client with the opportunity to communicate the plan to the work force and most importantly gain their support and buy in to the project. Dependent on the findings of the analysis phase, training, development courses and programs may be designed, instructor development programs (DSIP) conducted and competence assessment programs implemented during this phase of the project.

Execution Phase

The IAS team are there to provide ongoing support, guidance and advice as required and the content and scope of this phase of the project will be agreed by both parties once the implementation phase has been completed.

The IAS team are also able to advise both existing and new clients on Drilling Systems simulation technology products which are best suitable and capable of providing effective solutions to your organization’s training, development and competence program requirements.

By engaging the IAS team, you are ensuring that you will have the most effective and practical solutions that are specific and focused on your organization’s actual requirements and will maximize your return of investment.
