Modelled on the Honeywell TDC-3000, this unique system of applied simulation combines in-depth knowledge of process plant operations with unique simulation expertise to provide a cost-effective solution for an entire spectrum of petroleum product training. While it is estimated that full scope process simulators can attain as much as 95% of process operator needs, generic simulation can attain in excess of 85% at a small fraction of the cost.
GenSIM-5000 is a fully interactive simulator which provides an environment in which the user can easily and efficiently manage plant simulation instruction.
The simulator models the following processes:-
- Crude oil gathering
- Three phase separation
- Gas compression
- Gas re-injection
Production from five wells and two satellite stations can be routed through either the test separator or the main production train. Hardware display consoles provide either digital or conventional monitoring and control instrumentation systems. Comprehensive instructor utilities allow on-line performance monitoring, exercise configuration and the introduction of malfunctions.
