The simulator comprises many features typical of actual field equipment through an Operator's Control Console. A separate Instructor computer station facilitates monitoring of the simulator and the setting up of exercises, including some 25 instructor controlled malfunctions.
Digitised field recorded sounds add realism to the training session, whilst a colour plotter provides hard copy output of the trainees response to a given scenario.
